Many of us can find ourselves trapped in our minds by the things that were said to us by someone we truly loved, respected and trusted.
Statements like, “You will never amount to anything” or “You ent nuh good at all”, have significant negative long-term effects on impressionable minds.
We must choose carefully the things that we say because when we say something harsh, we really can’t “un-say it.”
Let us therefore intentionally choose kind words that instruct and correct as we endeavour to always encourage positive development in the minds of our future generations, today.
